Songs with Available Helps

The following are songs from our Hymnal, Praise for the Lord, that we have located some sound files to help learn to sing them.  At the time of this writing we had TWO helps available:

• A Cappella Hymns: a YouTube channel devoted to four-part harmony church hymns. The site is managed by brother Elliot Bowman who also (typically) makes all of the recordings (there are a few where he has had some "guest appearances" to help with certain parts).  You can link to his channel and see all of his videos at www.youtube.com/user/jelliotb6/featured.
• The KWEC CD: around 2016, the church of Christ at West End began broadcasting some Bible and biblical programs from GBN (the Gospel Broadcasting Network) from a low-power antenna on the 106.9MHz frequency in the St Charles, Missouri area.  Every so often, GBN transmits some recorded hymns, usually from congregational singing.  We collected 73 of these hymns onto a compact disc to distribute to the congregation. Many are songs that are well known throughout the brotherhood, others may be known very well in some areas and not so much in others.  This CD can be a great help to learning some songs as well.

As more helps become available, we will try to incorporate them into this page as well.  In the mean time, let's learn some hymns (and learn how to sing some of the old ones better!) to praise to the Mighty Maker!!
